Lithopone 28-30 is a white powder form pigment, produced by ZnSO4 and BaS, has good hiding power, excellent heat resistance. In daily application, it is considered as the best replacement of titanium dioxide.
Lithopone is a white powder, which is a mixture of zinc sulfide and barium sulfate. It is non-toxic. Its color is also called lithopone pink or zinc-barium white.

Lithopone is insoluble in water and can react with acidic substances to decompose and release hydrogen sulfide, but it will not react chemically with alkaline substances and hydrogen sulfide.

Lithopone has good heat resistance. Coating an object with a layer of lithopone can improve its weather resistance and prevent the growth of algae and moss. It is also a low-cost, non-transparent white powder. Its light-shielding rate is second only to titanium white.
